Dr. John H. Ellis, IV

 

Dr. Ellis is a local boy. He was born and raised in Kingston, PA. He attended Wilkes College and Hahnemann Medical College. His cardiology fellowship was at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

 

Dr. Ellis has been in private practice in Cardiology locally since 1985. He currently is the senior partner in NEPA Cardiology Associates, L.L.P. He practices all aspects of cardiology with special interest in Interventional Cardiology and Clinical Cardiology. He is board certified in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.

 

He is married to the former Sharon Castellani. Dr. Ellis and his wife have five children, four boys and a girl. Dr. Ellis loves northeastern Pennsylvania, especially helping to care for the people he grew up with.

Dr. David A. Dalessandro

Dr. David Dalessandro was born in Wilke-Barre, PA. He matriculated through Wyoming Seminary and graduated from the Upper School in 1982. He subsequently attended the University of Scranton, and graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He continued his studies at Thomas Jefferson Medical College where he graduated in the t0p third of his class in 1990.

Dr. Dalessandro was most fortunate to procure a cardiology fellowship position at Lankenau Hospital, completing his training in 1996 as a board certified invasive/noninvasive cardiologist.

After his fellowship, Dr. Dalessandro returned to Northeastern Pennsylvania with his wife and children. For the past twenty-six years, he has been practicing cardiovascular medicine as a partner in NEPA Cardiology Associates, L.L.P.

In addition, when not attending to the needs of his patients, Dr. Dalessandro enjoys exercising, traveling, golfing, working with his colleagues and staff, and especially
spending time with his family at the beach.

Dr. Joseph Briskie

Dr. Briskie grew up in Taylor, PA and attended the prominent Riverside Highschool. He then attended Wilkes University and graduated with a B. S. in Biology.

Falling in love with science he attended the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. Dr. Briskie completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Atlantic City Medical Center in New Jersey.

He completed his cardiology fellowship at Debra heart and lung center in New Jersey.

 

Dr, Briskie specializes in adult cardiology with an emphasis on pacemakers, internal defibrillators, and loop recorders. He resides in Moscow Pa with his family. In addition to caring for his patients he loves exploring the great outdoors and coaching junior football.

Dr. Michael Rupp

Dr. Michael Rupp graduated from Wilkes University with a BS. He then attended Hannenheim University where he earned his M.D. degree.

Falling in love with internal medicine, Dr. Rupp then completed a residency at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. Seeking more specialized knowledge Dr. Rupp attended a fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in cardiology.

Being a family man, Dr. Rupp enjoys spending time at home with his family and pets and loves the challenge of a good game of golf.  

 

Cristopher Ellis, MSN, CRNP

Christopher grew up in Dallas, Pa and attended Wilkes University where he received his bachelor’s and master’s in nursing in 2016.

He has worked in cardiovascular and surgical intensive care units and has been a registered nurse for 5 years.

Most of his background and career path is inspired by his father who is an interventional cardiologist. Christopher saw the impact his father has made on his patient population throughout the community and also all-over Northeastern Pennsylvania and wanted to be a part of that; working alongside him as well as three other great doctors and a fellow nurse practitioner has made his career choice fulfilling.

He currently resides in Dallas, Pa with his fiance Emily and his dog Barkley. He spend most of his spare time weight lifting and running, playing golf and basketball, enjoying time with family and friends, and attending professional sports games.

Kaci Wall DNP, CRNP

Kaci graduated from Wilkes University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

My career as a Registered Nurse began in the emergency department at Wilkes Barre General Hospital. In 2017, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner. Later that year, I received my Doctorate in Nursing Practice.

Her career as a cardiology Nurse Practitioner began in 2017. For the past 5 years, she have had the privilege to learn and work with great cardiologists and a fellow nurse practitioner.

I grew up in Hanover Township and currently reside in Mountain Top, PA with my husband Tyler and our two labs, Sadie and Sophie. I enjoy running, hiking with our dogs, and spending time with our family and friends.
